What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday
Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
The Unemployables (RTÉ2, 9pm)
Darren Kennedy and Jennifer Maguire return to help unemployed people shape up and become the right person for the job. Tonight, they meet Chloe Dalton-O’Neill, who feels her career is in limbo, and Jamie-Lee Connery, a wannabe actor who spends too much time on his Xbox. #theunemployables
The Zoo (RTÉ One, 7pm)
BABY ELEPHANTS! Now that we’ve got your attention - baby elephants! Really! The calfs that were born last year at Dublin Zoo are in the spotlight tonight, along with Marlon the chimpanzee, who the team hopes will breed with the resident females. #thezoo
The Supervet (Channel 4, 8pm)
If The Zoo didn’t contain enough sweet animal stories for you, flick over to Channel 4 to see Noel Fitzpatrick (AKA The Supervet) treat sick pets that no one else can heal. Tonight, he makes a prosthetic paw for a pooch run over in a road accident, and operates on a rabbit that broke its leg. Expect tears. #supervet
Everyone’s talking about: #RoomToImprove
RTÉ RTÉ
Oh yes, it’s not gone away you know. RTÉ are looking for participants for the next series of Room To Improve, and are seeking people with an “interesting house in need of some work and the vision of an architect”.
If you’re having a terrible time choosing the colour of your PVC windows, you can apply here. Best of luck, and let us know if you’ll be annoying Dermot Bannon any time soon.
Or flick over for…
